Ready to Rack
Modular power system
for next-generation AI data center infrastructure.
AI rack power is rising, and power infrastructure has to keep up. As space and conversion losses become system constraints, Alpitronic’s solid-state transformer (SST) architecture converts medium voltage directly to 800 VDC: compact, efficient, and modular.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
From isolated DC/DC modules to multi-megawatt containers
Alpitronic’s modular SST architecture converts medium-voltage AC to 800 VDC for AI data centers. Isolated DC/DC modules are combined into redundant ISOP strings and integrated into scalable 6 MW and 12 MW container configurations.
KEY FEATURES
- Isolated SiC DC/DC conversion
- Redundant ISOP architecture
- Indoor and outdoor configurations
KEY DATA
- MV to 800 VDC
- 6 MW / 12 MW building blocks
- >99% system efficiency
DC/DC MODULE
The power conversion core of the SST architecture
SiC power semiconductors and a high-frequency transformer enable efficient, galvanically isolated conversion. Modules connect in series/parallel within the ISOP architecture. Proven in a functional prototype.
KEY FEATURES
- SiC-based power conversion
- Galvanic isolation via high-frequency transformer
- Series/parallel integration in ISOP architecture
6 MW / 12 MW CONTAINER SYSTEM
Integrated MV-to-800 VDC power for high-density AI infrastructure
The container integrates multiple ISOP strings into a compact, high-power conversion system. The 6 MW configuration comprises three 2 MW ISOP strings; the planned 12 MW configuration extends the architecture further. Additional containers allow for further scaling.
KEY FEATURES
- Integrated MV rectification and isolated DC/DC conversion
- Redundant modular power architecture
- Compact, transportable outdoor configurations
KEY DATA
- MV to 800 VDC
- 880 kW/m² power density
- Fault isolation in <3 µs
- THD <3%
WHY ALPITRONIC
Proven at automotive scale, Alpitronic’s LVAC to 800 VDC conversion technology has been charging EVs since 2018, with 15 GW of installed capacity worldwide and solutions now in the megawatt range. It combines rapid deployment, plug-and-play installation, and superior operational performance.
The natural next step is to connect directly to existing medium-voltage infrastructure using solid-state transformers for MVAC to 800 VDC conversion.
